Project Description:

The Deadmans Run Watershed Master Plan Study is a comprehensive evaluation that will develop long-term planning tools and improvement projects to address flooding, stream stability and stormwater quality issues. The study includes the following major components:

  • Public involvement,
  • Watershed information gathering
  • Hydrologic and hydraulic analysis
  • FEMA floodplain mapping
  • Water quality assessment
  • Geomorphology evaluation
  • Drainage structure survey
  • Capital improvements

The public involvement component of the study offers multiple avenues to participate during the study, including public open houses, interest group meetings, and the potential to participate on a citizen advisory committee. In addition, three Newsletters will be developed that will provide updates during the study. This information is available on the Deadmans Run public participation page.
