Project Description:
The Deadmans Run Watershed Master Plan
Study is a comprehensive evaluation that will develop long-term
planning tools and improvement projects to address flooding, stream
stability and stormwater quality issues. The study includes the
following major components:
- Public involvement,
- Watershed information gathering
- Hydrologic and hydraulic analysis
- FEMA floodplain mapping
- Water quality assessment
- Geomorphology evaluation
- Drainage structure survey
- Capital improvements
The public involvement component of the
study offers multiple avenues to participate during the study,
including public open houses, interest group meetings,
and the potential to participate on a citizen advisory committee.
In addition, three Newsletters will be developed that will
provide updates during the study. This information is available
