Project Description:

The Cardwell Branch Watershed Master Plan Study is a comprehensive evaluation that will develop long-term planning tools and improvement projects to address flooding, stream stability and stormwater quality issues to provide guidance for sustainable growth in the watershed. The study includes the following major components:

  • Public involvement
  • Watershed information gathering
  • Hydrologic and hydraulic analysis
  • Water quality assessment
  • Geomorphology evaluation
  • Capital improvements

The public involvement component of the study offers multiple avenues to participate during the study, including public open houses and interest group meetings. In addition, two newsletters will be developed that will provide updates during the study. This information is available on the Cardwell Branch public participation page.
